A Town Called FISH – By the MLM Insider

Once upon a time in the land of mlm insiders there was a town…FISHTOWN Everyone in this town worked in the same industry..Fishing. Now you would think everyone would have the opportunity to succeed in this town since they all worked in the same industry. The truth be told…even with the same knowledge..there was only a small percentage of the people who were RICH.

Now there’s something fishing in that mlm insider story but let me tell you why only a small percentage were rich!

It’s because of the old bible story…”Give a man a fish…feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime.” The people that were successful were the ones who went and did the fishing each day and brought the catch home. They applied their skills and knowledge while the masses decided to wait for them to return.Now this little story emphasizes the point that network markers must not only learn how to fish but they must turn that knowledge into action. Action will create results. There is another old saying..”There are alot of very poor very well educated people!!”

And it’s not important to become an expert right away..study, study and then study some more. It’s about practicing what you have learned so you become better at what you do. Then when you become better you will become better some more and the cycle repeats itself.

Let me ask you this question. How long did it take you to become an expert at what you are really good at now? Ten minutes, ten days, ten weeks, ten years or are your still growing? Even Tiger Woods was once a beginner!!

So…when you go fishing..being the fisherperson..not just the one waiting for the scraps!
